Fresh Earth Gardens is Proud to announce our new Intern Training Program!
If you are a working farm needing an established training program to supplement your operations to stay in complience with Washington or Oregon Labor laws related to Farm Internships, our structured program consists of classroom learning, hands-on training in the field, and testing to ensure competence before individuals will earn certification.
Interns trained through our program are given appropriate skills based on the goals, capabilities and level of commitment to the process.
To ensure everyone has a chance to get involved & learn at their own pace, we have broken down the training program into a number of commonly utilized roles on the farm. Each participant will be properly educated, trained and tested to ensure future success in their desired role. Certification follows successful completion of the chosen role; individuals may be certified in more than one area.
The current training program includes the following positions:
- Harvest Worker
- Field Worker Level I
- Field Worker Level II
- Marketing & Sales Representative
- Customer Liaison
- Field Manager
- Farm Manager
